Holy Salad

Serves: 4 (as Salad), 2(as Dinner)
Tomato, Blanched and Peeled
Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Soaked (If not preserved in Olive Oil) and Finely Chopped2 tbsp
Black Olives10
Walnuts, Chopped2 tbsp
Mozzarella Cheese/ Cheddar Cheese, Thinly Sliced4 tbsp
For Dressing
Basil (Tulsi) Leaves, Chopped1 tbsp
Garlic, Clove Finely Chopped1
Olive Oil1 tbsp
Lemon Juice1 tbsp
Salt and PepperAs per taste

Method

  • Deseed the tomatoes and cut into thick strips.
  • Toss all the ingredients and chill the salad for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Just before serving, add the dressing. Mix well.
  • Serve with garlic bread.
