Puttanesca Mix

Serves: 2 (as dinner)
Garlic, Finely Chopped4 Cloves
Capsicum, Finely Chopped¼ Cup
Celery, Chopped¼ Cup
Tomatoes, Chopped2 Cups
Mixed Dried Italian Herbs1 tbsp
Chili Flakes1 tbsp
Black Olives, Sliced11
Red Wine2 tbsp (Optional)
Olive Oil4 tbsp
Salt & PepperAs per taste
Cheese, Grated (For Garnish)4 tbsp
Pastallio Pasta (Fusilli/Shell)200g

Method

  • Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the garlic and capsicum in it.
  • Add the Celery, Tomatoes and salt. Mix well. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add all the mixed dried herbs, chili flakes, olives and pepper. Mix well and sauté for 5 minutes.
  • Add Pastallio Pasta and red wine. Mix gently.
  • Garnish with Cheese and serve immediately.
